DESIGN
Rainy Day Systems (RDS) designs every system to the customer goals and their unique property features. During the on-site assessment RDS initiates a preliminary design and focuses on the primary elements such as the Catchment Surface, Conveyance (gutters, downspouts & Trunk-line). The size & placement of the storage tank is evaluated along with the pump, portable package & distribution. The goal of the design is for the Rainwater Harvesting System (RWHS) to provide a quality, long-term supply of potable water for customers.
The RWHS Design involves:
Catchment Surface: Roof Surface Area of House or Structure
Storage Tank & components: Size, & location, from catchment surface
Tank Pad: Concrete Ring-Beam
Conveyance System: Gutters, Down Spouts & Trunk line.
Pre-Filtration System: Gutter Guards, Trash Dump & Tank Sieve
Pump: Water Pressure Pump
Potable Package: Sediment, charcoal & UV for disinfection
Distribution: Service / piping to home and outdoor
